The cost of recycling this packaging can make a significant impact on the profits of an establish to the extent that recyclable material is often disposed of in land fill waste.

The government needs to provide a subsidy to local authorities so that all recycling can be disposed of at no additional cost to the establishment. Two things to consider are that schools and charities are also considered as businesses for waste disposal and that all businesses are already paying rates and taxes.
