Children in this situation should not be forgotten, and should be protected as the last remaining legal restrictions are removed. CEV children over 12 years old need to be acknowledged and offered the vaccine now.
After 19th July when we expect all legal restrictions to be lifted, many CEV children may be at even greater risk.
Some parents/care givers are waiting to have the vaccine themselves, and feel unsafe getting vaccinated due to having to take a vulnerable child with them, putting them at risk.
