Provide additional funding to increase the number of Practical Driving Tests

There are an inadequate number of practical driving tests available. This seems in a large part to be due to the lack of Examiners. The DVSA has been advertising for new driving examiners, but more funding could allow for increased numbers to be recruited, or higher pay offered to attract examiners.

When students have put in their time, effort and money to develop the necessary skills, they deserve the opportunity to be able to prove that they are safe to drive.

When logging on to the official website for booking driving tests, there are frequently no Practical Tests available.

Many people are unable to get jobs simply because they cannot get a license.
