Raise the national minimum wage to £10.50 by 2024 as promised

The Prime Minister has backtracked on his promise to 'raise the minimum wage to £10.50 by 2024' as revealed in the Queen's Speech, stating it will only happen "provided economic conditions allow" which is an easy escape for the PM to avoid keeping his pledge.

Along with this change, the minimum wage for other age groups should be raised to match, for example 18-20 should be raised to £8.20, under 18s to £7.50 etc.

These changes provide a fairer living wage for students working part time alongside full time education, and prevents new graduates trying to get work experience from being underpaid.
