With a backlog of c.500,000 tests and growing, that the general public can book tests at present is leading to ridiculous waiting lists in the driver training industry, 'no-shows' at test centres (where no ADI has been obtained), immediate urgent and unrealistic requests for assistance from untrained drivers and the creation of an industry that cannot deliver an end product and generating a rise in both cancellation Apps which hoover up the capacity that is released and fraudulent licence scams.
