The Government should make "Fit to Fly" Covid-19 tests/certificates available through a Government-service, at a fixed cost (eg. £45-50), with the revenues going to the NHS, instead of private companies profiting from providing this service.

The Government has substantial testing capacity, while individuals who need or want to travel abroad are forced to take long journeys to private testing providers and pay unjustifiably high costs for a relatively simple test. This money could be going to the NHS instead, and even at half the price of many private tests, it would benefit both the UK population and the NHS, whilst improving the Government's credibility.
