To make an amendment under the Equality Act 2010 which qualifies Children in Care and Care Leavers legal protection from discrimination as a Protected Characteristic. To also extend hate crime legislation to include crimes related to the status of being a child in care / Care Leaver, similar to that for race, religion and sexuality. By this. it sends a clear message that discrimination due to a lazy stereotype will not be accepted in modern day society.
