Currently travel exemptions only apply to EU residents if they have been fully vaccinated under an approved vaccination programme in Europe. This means that the UK does not acknowledge the EU's system for recognising people who have recovered from Covid-19, who in many cases have only received one dose of an approved vaccine.

This is affects many nationals' trips to see their loved ones.
