The number of referrals for eating disorders has increased dramatically for young people during the pandemic. Therefore, the UK Government needs to manage this appropriately after putting everyone into lockdown. This should include funding to substantially improve current services, increase numbers of community clinicians, and create more beds/hospitals/centers.
