Cats are often unable to protect themselves from the environment, contributing to approx. 230,000 cat deaths each year from road traffic. This could be prevented if our cats were kept inside and restricted to our gardens. It could also protect the environment in so many ways by keeping our cats restricted - it should prevent them being a nuisance & should help stop over-breeding, protect birds & keeps them from being attacked by other people.
