Raise the Income Tax Personal Allowance to £40,000 and reduce Higher Rate to 25%

The Government should raise the tax free allowance threshold to £40,000 and lower the higher tax rate to 25%. But no changes to national insurance contributions. National insurance should stay the same but income tax needs to be reduced due to staff shortage.

We are facing a major staff shortage and we can do something about it by reducing the higher rate income tax and abolishing taxes for people earning less than £40,000 a year. National insurance contributions stay the same. By doing this we should be able to at least get some staff and if we carry on like this we could be facing major shortage to food and fuel. So I see this as the only option right now to staff shortage I don't see any other options.
