‘Around 1 in 5 (21%) adults experienced some form of depression in early 2021- more than double that observed before the coronavirus pandemic (10%).’ – Office for National Statistics

Due to this, I believe it is more important, now more than ever to make some drastic changes. It is suggested that 11 weeks is the maximum referral time for mental ill health; this is, however, often the minimum in some cases. Due to this people often miss out on vital support after taking the often difficult first step of disclosing an issue.
