Having suffered years with mental health and put on a concoction of different medication for my bipolar and personality disorders. I have spent probably thousands on medication which keeps me alive. I believe medication that is used to keep anyone alive should be free, just like insulin.

I feel this would ease the pressure on some people who have mental health issues who may be worried about the costs of prescriptions and maybe not even be able to afford prescriptions so will go without, which in turn can lead to a crisis and costing the NHS more in the long run.
Certain mental health issues are for life! There is no cure no miracle pill just like anyone with diabetes who are insulin dependent.
