The meal voucher scheme is for children who have a registered school placement. If you have a child waiting for a school placement due to all local SEN schools being at overcapacity then even though they are being home tutored by tutors the LA have sent out they are not entitled to a meal voucher.

The meal voucher scheme that is currently in place for children who are at a registered school, means that children waiting for a school placement through no fault of their own are now at a disadvantage.
I feel that these children are just as entitled to a meal voucher as the children that are lucky enough to have a registered school place.
The meal voucher could make a huge difference to families who may be struggling, especially as these children are not entitled to free school meals either.
