Increase funding to reduce the backlog of elective surgeries

The Government has said it will support the NHS to tackle the backlog of elective surgeries. However, not enough has been done to put a plan in action. We need the Government to increase funding so these surgeries can take place as a matter of urgency.

As a young cancer survivor myself, I've already been waiting a year for reconstruction. Almost two million people are waiting on elective surgery for various reasons. I myself have been told I will have to wait another 2 years minimum to get seen. It isn't good enough.
