We believe the existence of the House of Lords is an assault on democracy, and a disgrace to this country. Unelected individuals, paid by the public, are enabled to interfere with and impede the work of elected representatives of the people.

The people must be offered a choice on whether to retain the Lords, or whether to abolish them absolutely, and the decision of the people on the matter must be final.
