Exempt carers from managed quarantine unless they test positive for Covid-19

The Government should grant automatic exemption from requirements to go into managed quarantine to those with caring duties and allow them to quarantine at their addresses, unless they test positive for covid-19.

Many carers have their disabled or ill dependants with them or awaiting their return in the UK. Keeping them apart can cause anxiety for both the carer and the cared for. Emergency carers may be struggling or begin to struggle when there is an extension of their emergency caring duties.
