Increase funding for children's palliative care centres in England

I want the Government to provide additional funding for children's palliative care centres, to make the journey as comfortable as possible for children and babies living with serious illness. These centres provided assistance when families has been told that there’s no cure for a child’s illness.

When a family has been told that there’s no cure for their child’s illness, these palliative care centres can help. They are there to make the journey as comfortable as possible, helping control pain and medication, offering respite and caring for babies, children and teenagers at the end of their lives. Their specialist care is free for as long as is needed, within the family home or at a hospice. It costs thousands to keep them running and they rely on fundraisers and donations.
