The Government should introduce a stamp duty holiday for people purchasing properties under £650,000 for the duration of the COVID pandemic, to reduce costs for people buying property.

By removing the financial burden of having to pay stamp duty, it will allow many people who are struggling to raise sufficient funds to purchase a property an opportunity to do so.
Whilst we are in a pandemic we believe it’s the right thing to do. When the status of Covid is downgraded to ‘epidemic’ then this duty can be reinstated.
