There are limited treatment options for adults with Amblyopia. We believe visual acuity standards can be too harsh on the condition for some roles as many people with the condition.

As treatment is most successful if diagnosed at 7 years or before, the Government should also review eye testing arrangements for children, and consider funding additional testing.
