My daughter is 26 years old and presenting with several symptoms of cancer of the womb. She has been unable to see a specialist to urgently investigate her symptoms, and we have been told that her age is a factor in this.

My daughter is suffering on a daily basis and is in severe pain. Our family’s experience suggests there is a need to review cancer diagnosis and treatment pathways for young women, to ensure they are seen quickly, and to investigate whether they are currently being denied access to care simply based on their age.
