We believe current proposals for this scheme could deincentivise agriculture and food production, and so result in increasing reliance on imports, which could in turn increase food miles and co2 emissions.

Too many people now see farming as a negative, despite accounting for around 10% of co2 emissions. We believe the answer is not too rewild but to work toward sustainable practice and carbon capture.
