The TV licence fee should be increased in line with inflation for the next two years, and no changes made to the arrangements for funding the BBC through the licence fee.

The BBC is a world leader for quality, creativity and integrity and needs to be protected to preserve the quality and range of broadcasting content. We believe the Government has misjudged the view if the population, and that the cost of the BBC is much less than having to pay more to get equivalent services from commercial agencies.
