On behalf of my 8 yr old who wants the Government to extend its extraordinary funding to TfL beyond 4 Feb 2022 to help combat climate change and protect jobs.

The reasons have been written by him:
• Climate change: Without public transport car use will go up and London will not be able to reduce its CO2 emissions.
• Jobs: People who can’t afford cars won’t be able to get to jobs and there will be a crisis.
• When a train approaches a platform, I wonder how the flawless machinery works. As soon as I get on a train I feel serene. I always look out of the window while dreaming of being a train driver.
• Lots of children will be sad if TFL shuts down. Every country wants its children to be happy.
