Require all hounds involved in 'trail hunts' to be muzzled

Undertaking a trail hunt with non-muzzled foxhounds, beagles, or likewise, would be a criminal offense.

Despite the Hunting Act 2004, foxes are still being brutally slain across the UK, both incidentally and deliberately, under the guise of 'trail hunting'. A senior fox hunter was recently found guilty of encouraging and assisting people to evade the ban on fox hunting, prompting the National Trust to take action and ban hunts on their land. The Government should act on this and help 'muzzle' this barbaric, sadistic and outdated blood sport.

Additionally, a muzzling policy would be far easier for the police to enforce than the current legislation.
