Babies are needlessly suffering with aerophagia related reflux due to misdiagnosis and management of tongue ties. This can lead to over prescribing of reflux medication.

A Government review could identify whether more training is needed for medical professionals, or whether new checks are needed for babies to to correctly assess oral dysfunction.
