All schools to be issued a portrait of Her Majesty the Queen this Jubilee Year

Each school should be issued with a portrait of Her Majesty the Queen in honour of her Platinum Jubilee, so that this can be displayed in a prominent area of the school.

Not only is this an appropriate way of celebrating Her Majesty’s 70 years on the throne, but I believe this idea will be popular and could help foster an atmosphere of unity and common celebration during this national event.

Since schools are public buildings funded by Her Majesty’s government, it is only natural that they be at the forefront of this national celebration unlikely to be repeated in our lifetimes.
