Substantially raise minimum fostering allowances due to current cost of living

The Government should substantially raise the minimum allowance paid to foster carers. Money is having to be spent out of foster carer's personal money leaving some in financial hardship, while they are trying to care for some of our most vulnerable young people.

The foster allowance paid to many foster carers is not high enough to cover all the children's needs and run households. The minimum allowances for people who help these children needs to be looked at & increased.
