Currently non-UK nationals, including Ukrainians, are only eligible for ILR after 5 years of continuous living in the UK only in limited circumstances (such as, if they have spent 5 years on a work visa or 5 years on a marriage visa).

However, time spent on certain visas, such as student or intra-company transfer visas, doesn’t count. In that case a Ukrainian would have to spend 10 years in the UK before they are allowed to apply.
