A lot of cancer research is nowadays done without animals, but animals still suffer and die. This isn’t about animals being more important than humans; this is about animals being at least almost as important as humans.

More human and animal lives could potentially be saved if more money was put towards non-animal research for cancer. More humans with cancer could at least be helped if more money was put towards support for them.
