Fund all care needs for dementia sufferers, including care home costs

I would like to see the Government provide the NHS with continuing funding for anyone suffering from dementia. It seems that they have to spend (or their families) thousands in care home fees and that is wrong.

Dementia kills and it is a degenerative illness. Sadly many care costs, particularly the cost of care homes, are not covered under the NHS but they should be.

There is enough stress on families coping with dementia sufferers. Husbands, Wives, Sons and Daughters who have enough to cope with the illness of their loved ones and the financial pressure only adds to the burden. The body packs up. It is a killer.
