As of March 2018, there were only 2 northern white rhinos left in the world, both in captivity and both female meaning they are functionally extinct, as the wild population was poached to near extinction. We need to help the governments of countries where northern white rhinos previously lived to research and find any existing animals and protect them to stop the northern white rhinos from becoming completely extinct.
