In its response to the review, the Govt should commit to:
- Giving DV survivors greater choice over methods of payment
- Increasing the range of accessible forms of communication available to CMS users
- Ensuring CMS provides proof that survivor can start Court Proceedings against perpetrator if unable to keep case open
- Establishing a new CMS department to deal with domestic abuse claims, with specialised professionals
- Increasing Child Maintenance payments in line with inflation
