I would like the law on number plates to be changed. I believe drivers should be allowed to the change the spacing in their number plates, including personalised number plates. The letters should obviously be in the correct order but changes to spacing should be allowed.

The reason I want this is because I believe it doesn't make sense to require a certain spacing, when provided the characters are in the right order the registration can still be easily recorded and recognised by ANPR cameras, the police, and other motorists.
It doesn't harm anyone or misrepresent the number plate as long as the letters are in the right order, spacing should be allowed to be changed.
