Stop the age discrimination for wages. Pay all ages the National Living Wage.

Make the national minimum wage equal for all ages, at the National Living Wage rate of £9.50 an hour. Currently the minimum wage for 16 and 17 year olds is £4.81; ages 18, 19, and 20 it is £6.83; ages 21 and 22 it is £9.18. Nothing else is cheaper for younger people. This is not fair.

There are people working the exact same job for the exact same experience, but one can be paid almost half what the other is. How is this legal or fair?

The Equality Act 2010 allows this age discrimination. The laws need to change. The National Living Wage of £9.50 an hour is the minimum any worker of any age should be paid.
