22% of the UK’s carbon emissions come from our homes, with ¾ of this from our heating. We must make it easier for people to make their houses more eco-friendly, without them having to spend absurd amounts of money. For example, the costs of installing solar panels alone costs an average of around £6,000, making improvements like this unavailable for 20 million UK households.

More must be done to combat this issue, otherwise we have no chance of meeting our net zero target.
