On 13th July 2022 a motion was presented at an Oldham Council meeting calling on the Government to hold a Public Inquiry into child sexual exploitation in Oldham following the release of the Oldham Report in June 2022. However, a majority of the Council voted to amend the motion, so that the Inquiry would not be called for.

We, the public, are now calling for intervention and for a Public Inquiry to be launched into CSE in the area as the report leaves many unanswered questions.
