Do not fund the BBC through a universal household levy linked to council tax

We do not want the BBC to be funded through a universal household levy linked to council tax bills. Not everyone watches live television broadcasts or has a television, and a universal levy would therefore be unfair. We believe the BBC should be privatised or move to a subscription model.

It has recently been suggested that a universal household levy linked to council tax bills is one option for funding the BBC in the future. We believe this should not happen, and want the Government to commit not to pursuing this reform.
