Experts predict that the energy price cap will rise to £4,200+ by January 2023. If correct then this would be a 300% increase vs the price cap of £1,042 in January 2019.

Although the Government is providing £400 off of household energy bills from October, and has provided more in direct payments to ‘low income households’, this does not go far enough.

More support is urgently needed, especially for working families and taxpayers who have received the lesser amounts of current support level.
