A 2020 report by PACTS shows that in 2019, 305 pedestrian deaths involved cars while 5 pedestrian deaths involved bicycles and 48 cyclists were killed by cars. We believe these proposals are impracticable, unenforceable and could lead to increased aggression from motorists towards cyclists who are already vulnerable on the roads.
