Within the UK, it is a legal requirement to wear a safety seat belt while driving and or a passenger in a vehicle. The vast majority of vehicles are now fitted with safety features, air bags, and subjected to crash tests to minimum standards.

And yet, there is NO legal requirement to wear protective clothing other than a safety helmet while a driver or a passenger of a motorcycle. We believe this should change.
