The Government supports some international recruitment of healthcare professionals, but international students could help fill healthcare staff shortages, especially in the winter.

To make it easier for international students to fill these positions, allow international students to work in healthcare positions for up to 30 hours a week during term-time, rather than the current 20 hours limit.
