We believe it is anti-democratic and infringing on civil liberties that UK citizens can be tracked and information held about their movements without their express consent, and potentially be used to place restrictions on their movements. We believe that camera surveillance of citizens going about lawful activity, which can be integrated with personal data through facial recognition and ANPR technology, is an unjustifiable intrusion into their privacy.
