Police officers can earn £200 per week more than a Firefighter and a Paramedic.
Unequal cross service pay is unjustified as all emergency workers contribute equally to society and the Government should accept a Firefighter, a Paramedic and a Police officer are equal in terms of pay and their commitment to the Communities they serve.

Firefighters, police and paramedics have suffered 10-12 years of austerity and sub inflationary pay rises for too long. Firefighters, police and paramedics should have parity of pay and this should be discussed fully in Parliament.
