Under 25s should not be able to purchase fireworks and all online stores selling fireworks should need to obtain proof using video identity verification, and it should be illegal to release fireworks between 3-6pm.

Between 3-6 pm are busy hours when parents or caretakers have to pick up their children from school and are making their way home from work. A lot of young people under 18 somehow get a hold of fireworks and misuse them which results in injuries, and even deaths. These new restrictions should help better protect the public.
