Abolish the TV License for the elderly, students and basic rate tax payers.

The government should remove the requirement to pay for a TV License each year, the cost of living crisis is hard enough to navigate without having to pay an additional £159 per year. A TV license should not be a legal requirement but as a minimum it should be removed for those most impoverished.

I don't think the TV license should exist for anybody but it would be a help to people who are struggling the most in an economic crisis. An additional £13.25 per month for people with higher bills may help a small amount.
