Introduce a policy of housing all asylum seekers in hotels

The refugee crisis is getting worse as more and more people flee their homes. Having risked their lives, they should be shown respect when they get here. There are serious concerns about overcrowding and conditions of immigration centres. New arrivals should be housed in hotels as standard.

Refugees should be welcome in the UK, not corralled in centres that may be unfit for purpose, with the threat of being shipped to a hostile country like Rwanda. We should be welcoming people who have had to flee their homes. Housing asylum seekers in hotels while their claims are considered is the least we can do.
