Prioritise and expedite Visa applications for doctors offered jobs with the NHS

There is a general shortage of Doctors in the UK. Overseas Doctors have been offered posts in the NHS but are facing unacceptable delays that are preventing them from getting the visas they need to work in the UK. Some doctors have reported a 3-4 month wait for visas.

The NHS is facing a serious shortage of doctors. The Doctors' Association UK, the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of GPs have all expressed serious concerns about visa delays.
