We want the Government to urgently review funding arrangements for childcare. Many nurseries struggling to survive at present, closures are on the increase, and we believe there is now insufficient childcare. Childcare is vital to supporting our economy, and urgent action is needed.

A review of funding for childcare settings is needed so the Government can ensure there is sufficient funding to make it affordable to nurseries to run a good business. Support nurseries instead of overseeing closures.

We also believe OFSTED rated good / outstanding nurseries should be given an incentive to be able to continue to keep up to the standards.
