Prohibit the sale of over the counter medication to under 16s

I want something put in place so that there is a legal minimum age a person can buy over the counter medication as currently there is no law about this, and it is up to individual retailers whether to restrict the sale of medicines to children.

We believe that the current lack of legislation limiting the age at which people can buy over the counter medication puts children at risk, and that a minimum age of 16 should be set in law for buying over the counter medication.

I understand that some stores but in place their own rule that you have to be 16 to buy medicines and no more than 2 packs, but this is down to the individual store, and should be governed by legislation.
